Engineered to a Different Standard.

PRECISION · NEVER COMPROMISES

The GDxDORCO 35 Series combines clinical-grade sharpness with operational consistency — purpose-built for demanding pathology environments where every section counts.

We utilize our exceptional technologies to achieve Super Precision EDGE.

Unmatched Durability and Performance.

DIAMOND HARD COATING

Our Diamond Hard Coating technology delivers 2.1 times the hardness of the competition’s Cr coatings, ensuring unmatched edge retention and durability. This advanced technology provides consistent precision cutting and reduces blade wear, maximizing efficiency and reliability in every use.

Why it Matters:

  • Enhanced Durability: Greater resistance to wear and tear for longer blade life.

  • Precision Cutting: Superior edge retention ensures consistent tissue sectioning, even under demanding conditions.

  • Reliability: Fewer blade changes reduce downtime, increasing efficiency in laboratory workflows.

Precision at the Molecular Level.

SUB ZERO TREATMENT

Our Proprietary Stainless Blade Alloy undergoes advanced sub-zero cooling technology, reaching temperatures as low as -80°C. This process enhances the blade’s microstructure, resulting in increased density, improved durability, and superior cutting performance. Our sub-zero treatment ensures sharper, stronger, and longer-lasting blades by optimizing material properties through precise temperature transitions.

Precision Redefined with Two-Layer Polishing

Our innovative two-layer polishing technology ensures superior precision and durability. We deliver a smoother, more consistent finish by maintaining perfect left-right symmetry and equal abrasive surface length. This streamlined approach minimizes imperfections, enhances performance, and significantly increases the blade's durability.

Limitations of Three-Layer Polishing

Three-layer polishing methods, commonly used in the market, often result in uneven abrasive surface lengths and irregular bevels. These inconsistencies lead to rougher blade surfaces, reduced accuracy, and less consistent tissue ribbons during cutting. The outcome is subpar performance and reduced durability over time.

Blades Leveling Substrate

STRUCTURAL INNOVATION

Microtome blade cartridges traditionally rely on spring tension alone to advance blades. However, as the number of blades decreases, the internal pressure becomes uneven, often leading to tilting, misalignment, or incomplete ejection, especially with the final blade. The Blades Leveling Substrate is a patent-pending structural innovation designed to overcome this industry-wide issue. Integrated beneath the blade stack, this engineered support platform ensures that each blade, including the last one, is evenly supported and precisely aligned throughout the dispensing cycle.

By minimizing angular shift and maintaining horizontal balance regardless of remaining blade weight, it provides:

  • Consistent blade positioning during the entire use cycle.

  • Clean, reliable dispensing down to the last blade.

  • Enhanced safety and user convenience during blade retrieval.
